Edna Masenge

Edna Masenge holds a Masters of science (MSc) in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the same University. She has research experience in waste characterization for biogas production, waste minimization and pollution monitoring, Environmental analysis and quality chemical analysis. Her research interest is in waste to energy for Biogas production, resource efficiency and cleaner production, Green and Circular Economy.

She has professional training in ISO 17025, Method Validation and uncertainty, Environmental monitoring and modelling, Industrial resource management and cleaner production, Spatial Ecotoxicology and Eco toxicological risk assessment, Loss prevention promotion in chemical safety industries.

She is a registered lead expert in Environmental Impact Assessment and a member of Environmental Institute of Kenya, Kenya Chemical Society and Royal Chemical Society.
