Renewable energy expert with over 18 years management and research experience in Energy, Food, Industrial processing and value addition. Currently undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy study in Renewable Energy Technology. Holds a Master Degree in Renewable Energy Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Process Engineering.
Has over 18 years’ experience in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency, micro generation and ultra-low head micro hydro power technology, biomass and solar energy technologies. Has conducted Research for the last 18 years with a bias to Bio-Energy and Industrial Processing up to and including design and commissioning equipment.
Participated in on-job training in the areas of Energy leadership, Renewable Energy technologies (Mini-hydros, Solar PV technologies), Project cycle management, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), and also undertaken Process Simulation and Optimization course. A registered engineer with EBK and a member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK). A member of the Association of Energy Professionals Eastern Africa (AEPEA) and the World Bioenergy Association (WBA).
