The Green Energy and Climate Change division of the Site 7 Ministry of Energy is active in the field of renewable energy (household and institutional biogas, solar lanterns, wind) and is eager develop a biogas project using organic waste from a number of sources, notably markets, slaughterhouses, industry (sugar, ethanol) and possibly water hyacinth and organic waste from the municipal dumpsite.
